A tryout after watching an artist tryouts with Quixel Mixer. Mixer is good at working on (relative) hardsurfaces but I still struggle at making more organics stuff like multilayered grass or pebbles from scratches. There are no content-aware tools or poly-fill stuff yet in Mixer. Also the perlin/voronoi noises are not that dynamic. Mixer is still in beta but I'm frustrated not being able to do that yet.
